Applying for or renewing your residence card in Belgium: EU card and EU+ card

Are you a Romanian or other EU citizen living in Belgium for more than three months? Then you must register with your municipality and you will receive a residence card. We help you with the application, the documents and the appointment.

Since 2021, the former E and E+ cards are officially called the EU card and the EU+ card. As an EU citizen you have the right to live in Belgium, but you must register with the municipality (town hall) where you live to get your residence card in Belgium. After applying, you first receive a certificate (annex 19) and, once approved, an EU card. After five years of uninterrupted legal residence, you can apply for permanent residence: the EU+ card.

Many applications are delayed by a missing document or a misunderstanding at the municipality. We make sure your file is complete before you go to the counter.
